City Sidewalk Services LLC was re-established in Ohio in 2023 with a mission to leverage local leadership and strengthen community functionality. We focus on serving local municipalities, property management associations, hospitals, universities, and homeowners. Our goal is to provide safe pedestrian access by eliminating sidewalk trip hazards.

OUR ORIGINS

City Sidewalk Services LLC was originally founded in Atlanta, GA, in 2003. The business emerged in response to numerous inquiries from housing authority managers across the Southeast regarding sidewalk trip hazards. Recognizing the need for an efficient and cost-effective solution, we developed specialized equipment and processes to proactively eliminate trip hazards without the need for sidewalk replacement. This innovation helped housing authorities avoid costly compliance issues during REAC inspections and adhere to ADA Section 405 regulations.

Between 2003 and 2020, City Sidewalk Services delivered solutions across the Southeast, working with Federal Housing Authorities, local municipalities, Parks & Recreation Departments, Public Works Departments, and Property Management Firms. Our services helped clients reduce capital expenditures, enhance sidewalk safety, and stay compliant with ADA regulations and REAC requirements, ultimately optimizing their budgets.

In July 2020, City Sidewalk Services was sold to its employees. Following the sale, Mr. Keane returned to his hometown of Canton, Ohio.
